Suffer Tooth Loss If You Leave Gum Infection Untreated

Gum is health is as important as overall health due to the fact that periodontal disease, which refers to the medical term or scientific name of gum disease covering a wider range of stages and varieties of conditions – is actually a gum infection caused by anaerobic bacteria present in the mouth at all times when one does not properly observe proper hygiene habits and dental cleanings. The gum infection causes the release of toxins which will destroy gums and teeth. Failing to prevent and treat gum disease contributes to the destruction of the tissues that helps support teeth, causing it to be dissolved until teeth end up falling out.
